What you must know prior booking Agra day tour package with Maharaja Tour.
Most Agra day tour packages vary between 6-10 hours according to the itinerary. Taj Mahal sunrise tour takes 3-4 hours. Full-day Agra tour which includes Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Mehtab Bagh takes 8-9 hours. Fatehpur Sikri day tour takes about 6-7 hours.
The best time to visit Taj Mahal is at sunrise – when there is softer light, less crowded and cooler. Winter season i.e. October-March is most comfortable for sightseeing in Agra. The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
Day tour prices at our end include the guide fee and AC private transport. Monument entrance tickets are bought at the gate (we give an estimate of exact amount before hand). We take you to the right counter to save time.
Yes – we have same-day Agra tours from Delhi either by road (3-4 hours journey through Yamuna Expressway) or Gatimaan Express train (100 minutes journey). Departure is normally around 5-6 AM to maximize your time at the monuments. Back to Delhi by 8-9 PM.
Definitely. All our tours in our Maharaja Tour day package are entirely private, meaning your own transport, your own guide, and your own schedule. We never merge two groups.
Yes. The Taj Mahal moonlight viewing can be organized only on full moon days along with the previous and subsequent two days. There are only 400 tickets per day. We recommend booking it at least 2–3 months before the trip. Contact us to confirm availability.
Our cancellation policy is flexible: you get a full refund in case of cancellation within 48 hours before the tour. In case of moonlight viewing tickets, there are additional ticket conditions.
